What is SCRATCH?
  SCRATCH means Support for CollaboRative Aeronautical TeChnical ResearcH
 
  SCRATCH DEFINITION
 
 
SCRATCH is a network of Partners, all European Experts with extensive knowledge of European R&D support mechanisms and Aeronautics technologies.
SCRATCH network is directly acting in fifteen European countries (enlargement is permanent and follows general opening policy of the European Union).
SCRATCH services are funded by the EU and arefree of charge for Small and Medium Enterprises.
SCRATCH Partnership has, up to now, set up and submitted to the EU more than sixty-nine Research project proposals led by small enterprises working in Aeronautics.
SCRATCH supported Projects have been funded for a total of more than 50 M€ by the European Commission to the benefit of Small and Medium Enterprises and their corporate policies.
 
  ADVANTAGES OF USING SCRATCH SERVICES
 
 
SCRATCH is an European funded Project, aiming at providing free services to small enterprises working in the Aeronautics Industry by:
  1. Focusing on short term technology acquisition needs
  2. Preparing and submitting Research project proposals that answer to the Calls for Proposals issued by the European Commission R&D Framework Programme (FP).
Small enterprises can benefit from SCRATCH activities via:
  1. The support of the European Commission through a wide SCRATCH network (established 1997) and that has since developed and grown to service a large number of member states;
  2. Numerous collaborative Research opportunities thanks to a data-base of more than 700 enterprises already visited by the SCRATCH Partners;
  3. The expertise of Aeronautics technology acquisition gathered by SCRATCH is unique in Europe in the field dedicated to Small and Medium Enterprises.
