SCRATCH Audit Activity |
SCRATCH is the single European consortium performing successfully this type of contacts with industrialists. |
| |
| |
Objectives of the Audit Activity |
| |
The first objective of the audit is to get in touch with the SMEs rising from the awareness campaign in order to show them possible collaborative involvement.
SMEs having expressed interest, from the actions undertaken in awareness campaigns, are visited (or re-visited) with the following goals: |
To give explanations on EU FPs opportunities in Aeronautics and on the SCRATCH support principle. |
To give examples on already funded SCRATCH born RTD projects.
The presentation of successful SCRATCH serviced STREPs which are displayed on SCRATCH web site through: |
| |
abstracts and general presentations of projects objectives, |
expected achievements, |
innovations, |
work-plan, |
partnership, |
schedule and global budget. |
| |
| |
| |
EXPRESSED TECHNOLOGICAL ACQUISITION NEEDS |
| |
The second objective of collecting SMEs expressed technology acquisition needs are: |
To get back a better and direct knowledge of the visited SME (location, installation, products, workforce) |
To help the visited SME to focus on its specific technological acquisition needs and to express them, |
If possible, to extract from the visited SME corporate research plan, which are the technological acquisition needs that could best suit to collaborative, product oriented and short term research. |
| |
An audit form is set up after to this visit and the profile so collected of the company is
then entered by the relevant SCRATCH partner into the SCRATCH database, which is a private part of the SCRATCH web site.
SCRATCH database takes into account audits performed since the beginning of SCRATCH existence (around 1997)
and holds more than 700 profiles of aeronautics companies visited in Europe and Israel.
This database is very useful when looking for the constitution of R&D proposals consortia as its didactical interface
permits to make selections of companies’ profiles according to the type of activity, to the country, to the experience in R&D, etc. |
